The Aimé Leon Dore x New Balance 650 “Green” is a green and grey colorway of the retro basketball shoe co-designed by Teddy Santis’s popular clothing brand and New Balance. The New Balance 650 was brought back by Aimé Leon Dore following the success of its collaboration with New Balance on the 550 model, another retro basketball shoe that debuted in the 1980s. Like the 550, the 650 features vintage design elements, including, on the “Green” colorway, a cream midsole that mimics the look of a sole that’s undergone the process of oxidation. Grey mesh appears on the shoe’s base while green leather overlays are found throughout the upper. A tan “N” logo appears on the sides. Dual “Aimé Leon Dore” and “NB” branding is found on the back of the left and right shoe, respectively. Release date: October 6, 2022
