The Nike Air Max Tailwind IV “Sunset” dresses the retro ‘90s running silhouette in a design infused with warm summer hues. As its nickname suggests, the Air Max Tailwind IV in the “Sunset” colorway mimics the beautiful rays of light the sun emits after a warm, fun-filled summer’s day. The mesh detailing found on the mid-panel takes on a yellow-orange appearance near the forefoot and transitions to a more solid tone of orange toward the heel. Supple black leather overlay panels are applied to the forefoot, eyelets, collar, and heel. A blazing shade of orange mesh can be found on the shoe’s collar. The same hue graces the cotton liner and the underside of the grey mesh tongue. White laces are weaved through the nylon quick-lace system and orange Swoosh detailing appears on the forefoot and heel. A vintage “Max Air” logo on the back of the shoe is consistent with the original design of the Air Max Tailwind IV. Underfoot, yellow tinted visible Air units provide a retro look while supplying plenty in the way of comfort to the wearer.
